Setup Checklist

This checklist shows which credentials and integrations are required for the operations system to function fully. Items marked as missing must be configured before those features will work.

Secrets & Credentials

Configured via Airo Secrets (Settings → Secrets).

Authentication Secret

Session encryption key for admin login. Key: BETTER_AUTH_SECRET

Notification Email

Email address for form submission notifications. Key: CONTACT_NOTIFICATION_EMAIL

Integrations

Email (Airo Gateway)

Required for gig invitations, resume links, proposal emails, and confirmation packets. Configure via the email skill.

File Storage

Required for vendor portfolio uploads, credential documents, and generated PDF packets. Configure /shared-storage/public/assets/ for runtime uploads.

Admin Account

Admin user account

An admin account must be created via the /admin/create-account route before first login.

Experience Catalog Setup

Creates the catalog database tables and seeds the initial published version from the current catalog data. Safe to run multiple times — existing records are never overwritten.

Database Migration

Creates all required tables for the financial reports, cancellation payouts, 1099 review, and payee relationship features. All steps are idempotent — safe to run multiple times. Existing data is preserved.

Steps included:

Step 11: client_cancellation_payouts (handles both fresh and old-schema tables)
Step 12: tax_review_thresholds (seeded with 2026 = $2,000)
Step 13: tax_review_decisions
Step 14: vendor_payee_relationships
